Featured Quilt: Anchors Aweigh

Anchors Aweigh QuiltDo you enjoy old-fashioned quilts or antique quilts? If you’re a fan of traditional quilting, you do! Marianne Fons certainly is and old fashioned quilts are what inspired Anchors Aweigh. She’s happy to use modern methods for this quilt, making it easier to assemble, but just as beautiful as quilts of yore.

Anchors Aweigh was designed by Marianne Fons and Jean Nolte. The quilt was made by Marianne Fons and quilted by LuAnn Downs. It is featured in the Love of Quilting September/October 2014 issue.
