Robbi Joy Eklow constructs her art quilts using fusible web and lots of bright colors. Her designs really 'pop' through her use of two types of contrast: value (light blue against dark blue) and temperature (a warm red against a cool blue). To complete her quilts, Robbi Joy likes to cover the surface with free-motion quilting lines spaced about 1/4' apart. Robbi Joy wrote an article about her technique for the January/February 2004 issue of Fons & Porter's Love of Quilting.
