Marianne Fons combined a variety of 1890s-style reproduction prints for her classic Log Cabin quilt. She arranged the blocks in a Sunshine and Shadow setting and appliquÈd stars where the light shirting prints come together. Marianne explains "I grew up in Texas, and the star shape I used on the blocks and in the border reminds me of a Texas Ranger's badge."
