When I receive my issue of Love of Quilting, I go first to Liz's Scrap Bag because I seem to be drawn to the fabrics she uses. I made The Irish Chain from the January/February 2013 issue and donated it to The Clearing Folk School in Door County, WI for use in one of the student cabins. This wonderful adult folk school is my favorite place to quilt. Pictured in the photo are (left to right) Mary Murphy, volunteer, Sally Werling and Kathy Swanson, registrar.
