The minute I saw the pattern for Imperial Diamonds (Love of Quilting, July/August 2011), I knew it was just what I had been looking for in a quilt for my bedroom! Although I had been quilting for a few years, the project seemed a bit overwhelming, so almost two years after I had purchased most of the fabric needed, I finally recruited my mother, Sue Kostka, an avid quilter, to help me 'get started.' The intention was that we would cut and sew together at her house for two days, then I would take everything home with me to finish. Once we began, we had so much fun that I stayed for two extra days and we completed the entire project in four days!
Thank you, Love of Quilting, for yet another beautiful pattern with excellent, easy to follow instructions. I will treasure this quilt always!
