My younger daughter is pregnant with her first child, and when I saw Circles for Paige in the January/February 2013 Love of Quilting magazine and then on the PBS show, I knew I had to make it for the baby.
Making the quilt and deciding where to place all those circles was fun. Once I had the circles arranged, I discovered I wanted to add more, so I did. I call the quilt Circles for Baby Stanton since I won't know the baby's name until she's born. The quilt back is not a solid piece. I found some flannel that said 'I Love Grandma' which I had to use somewhere. That led me to put a strip of it in the backing. The two circles on the back say 'faith, hope, and love' and another that holds my quilt label. My daughter is holding the quilt in the picture.
I love your magazine and the wonderful variety of patterns that you include. Thanks, especially, for this one!
