I started collecting fabric in 2007 for a new quilt for my bed. I had no idea of the pattern to use. I knew something would peak my interest. In May of 2008 I was diagonsed with breast cancer, so quilting went to the bottom of the list. I survived chemo and radiation, only to be diagnosed with a worn out shoulder. I now have a new shoulder and have started sewing/quilting again. I saw the 3 Squared pattern in the Summer 2012 Easy Quilts magazine and thought why not? I used the fabric collected in 2007. The quilt went together very nicely and quickly. It is now on the bed and has been 'cat tested and approved.'
