I was really excited to create my own Sunny Trio by Patrick Lose (July/August 2010) as soon as I saw it! I loved the colors that he chose, but I did need to adapt the color pallet to fit my country home. I also enjoyed hand sewing, so I quilted and appliquéd by hand. I am very happy with the results. Thanks for including smaller projects in your magazine. Because I do work outside my home, I have made several wall hangings and table runners from Fons & Porter’s Love of Quilting over the past few years. I love your tips, old quilts, and the quilt patterns so much that it is like Christmas to find the latest edition in my mailbox. Please keep them coming!
