As soon as I saw your May/June 2010 cover (Watermelon & Shoofly), I knew it would be perfect for my picnic quilt. I take my grandsons, Griffin and Ethan, to the park and wanted a quilt I could sit on as I watched them play. My version used a nine patch and I did "pickety sticks" for the border to tie my color choices together. We used it for the first time at our local teddy bear picnic and it worked great. Thanks for such a fun summer pattern.
