We don't get to spend nearly enough time with our grandchildren due to distance, but we found that evey visit involved repeated readings of Eric Carle's Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? with our granddaughter, Eirinn. When I saw the Brown Bear quilt pattern in the March/April 2009 edition of Love of Quilting, it was a given for this grandma! The photo shows Eirinn, blue horse, and the finished project. The quilt was so fun to construct and quilt, but has proven more fun as we observe the joy it brings to this special little girl. Thanks for including such a wonderful pattern in your magazine!
