Your issue of July/August 2005 contained an article about barns decorated with huge painted quilt squares in Grundy County, IA. The article inspired me to make several sketching trips there with my husband. The resulting quilt, contains 36 twelve inch squares representing 35 barns. To our amusement, 'Contrary Husband and 'Contrary Wife' were found on opposite ends of the same barn!
