After watching your TV show and seeing the Nouveau Bargello pattern in the Fall 2007 Easy Quilts magazine, I knew that was the perfect pattern for my co-worker and me to make for her boss, Martin. He had been vice president of international newsprint sales for our paper company. Our version is entitled Black and White and Read all over, referring to the old joke, "What is black and white and read all over? The newspaper! On most of the white squares, we wrote names of those around the world who reported or worked closely with him. The outside border is a fabric that looks like the front page of a newspaper, featuring historical events. We presented the quilt at a departmental lunch and it was a wonderful surprise. Thanks for providing us with a perfect pattern for our gift!<
