I want to thank you for publishing Dave's Irish Chain in the March/April 2008 edition of Love of Quilting. I used the pattern (went to the website for king-size instructions) for a 50th anniversary present for my sister-in-law and her husband. I wanted to make it meaninful for the occassion so I did it in shades of gold. Anna Belle and Bo Justus of Lebanon, MO, were very pleased with it. The quilt was so big we folded it in quarters to get it and them into the picture. In place of Celtic knots, I quilted the white squares with a Feathered Heart, in recognition of their love for each other. Being a long-arm quilter, I really appreciate the quilting diagrams you include in the magazine. Keep up the great work!
