I was given sample fabrics to use for quilts that would be given to a local charity for abused children. I enjoy being creative with the quilts and this particular grouping of fabric reminded me of a Bohemian theme for a teenage girl. As I was looking at your January/February 2008 issue of Love of Quilting, the blocks in Sweet Hears seemed to suit this fabric. I adapted the pattern to use all the scraps into the 1' inset border and the multi-colored binding. This quilt and many others are stitched with love and care to help bring some measure of comfort to these youngsters.
