I promised my granddauther, Stevie Jo Boggs, that when she moved into her own apartment I would  make her a black, white, and red quilt. Midnight Stars in the July/Aug 2009 issue of Love of Quilting was the perfect quilt. The colors called for were black and white but by tweaking one of the whites, I came up with this quilt. It is gorgeous and we have received tons of compliements. I have subscribed to Love of Quilting for many years and have made a lot of projects. I so appreciate the easy to follow pattern instructions and the many great articles. Thank you.
