When I saw this quilt, Appomattox Courthouse, on the cover of the May/June 2009 issue of Love of Quilting, I knew it was one I wanted to make. I belong to a quilting guild, so when my name was drawn at a monthly meeting, I took the opportunity to ask my quilting friends to make a block for me. I hand quilted it during the winter. I was good therapy for me! It looks great on the wall in my entryway.
