I have been a fan of your magazine and TV show for many years. Through the years I have made quite a few quilts highlighted in your magazines. I decided to  make my own version of the Zig Zag quilt featured in your May/June 2008 issue, and titled it Red Lightning. I was attraced to the vertical pattern of the design and  chose various red fabrics to create the zig-zag pattern. I thought the red fabrics gave it a modern flare but then adding the beige and blue fabrics brought back a more traditional feel to the quilt. Keep up the good work!
