One of the best things about where we work is that a group of quilters have formed a group caledl "Quilting Buddies". We have  made several projects to donate to various charities. Our most beloved project was making a quilt to honor our co-worker, John Mellnick, who lost his valiant fight with cancer. The proceeds from the sale of the quilt were donated to Relay for Life. A fellow co-worker purchased the quilt and presented it, as a gift, to John’s widow, Cindy. We are so pleased that the quilt found a home with John’s family and we hope it brings them the same comfort that we found as we stitched it.
