When I saw the pattern for Birthday Stars in the July/August 2007 issue of Love of Quilting, I knew I had to make it. We had a local "Quilter's Run" and I was able to gather some fat quarters from each shop. The recipient of this quilt is one of my favorite ladies, Tess. I gave it to her for Christmas and she was wrapped up in it all day. There is something warming about a homemade quilt. Thanks for the inspiration.
