I finished this quilt for my brother and his wife using your Spice Islands Compass pattern from the March/April 2007 issue. I followed Brenda Henning's choice of using Bali fabrics which are some of my favorites as well. I've done some paper-piecing but never an entire quilt. It was a major undertaking but a satisfying achievement to obtain those "perfect points". I was very hapy with the end result and so was my brother.
