I have been reading your magazine for several years and have made a number of quilts. This quilt, Basketweave, is my adaptation and was taken from your January/February 2007 issue. We have a university in our town, Pittsburg State University, and our mascot is the Gorilla with red and gold as school colors. Our neighbor is one of the football coaches and at the beginning of each game the announcer loudly states “Welcome to the Jungle”. I had one of local screen print shops put the logo in the middle of the quilt. Several of my friends as well as family members thought I should share this colorful quilt with you. It was fun!
