Peggy Garner from the Fons & Porter quilt shop in Winterset, Iowa was invited to the Winterset Elementary School to give a short presentation on quilts. The preschool children were getting ready to learn about the letter Q so the subject of quilts was a perfect match.

In each issue, Love of Quilting will feature a quilting celebrity, her sewing space, and a trunk show of her work. Here, the spotlight shines on Lori Smith, a traditional quilter known for her beautiful handwork.
