Joyce Becker created this lively floral scene with free-motion appliqué quilting. She used overlays of Angelina and tulle for shading and perspective, thread work, and sponging with inks, pastels, and fabric markers. Joyce specializes in detailed landscape quilts, which celebrate her love of nature. She has written several books on the topic, including Beautifully Embellished Landscapes and Simple Techniques for Dynamic Quilts, both published by C&T Publishing.
