Working from photographs taken on hikes in Colorado with her husband, Annette Kennedy creates lush landscape quilts. This piece showcases a view of Long Lake at the Indian Peaks Wilderness area in Rocky Mountain National Park near their home. As a child, Annette learned to sew and hand quilt from her mother and grandmother, but now enjoys the freedom of hand painting, fusing, and machine quilting her work. Annette is an award-winning art quilter and exhibits her quilts at many national shows.
