Texan Ronnie Lewison swears that she must be the only person who loves to create quilts but doesn’t enjoy sewing. The former art director and needlepoint and embroidery designer creates images with Photoshop on her computer and then interprets them in fabric with raw edge appliqué. The freeform pieces are fused to a muslin base, and then free-motion machine quilted. Ronnie was inspired to make this quilt by the watercolor paintings of Phyllis Kapp.
