Debbie Jones, who grew up in Texas, began sewing and crafting as a child. She spent many years in Arizona and New Mexico before recently moving to Florida. Her textile imagery reflects a familiarity and love of the southwest landscape. Debbie donated Afternoon Glow as part of an artists group fund-raiser for victims of Hurricane Katrina.
