I'm a beginner-novice quilter. I joined a quilt club here in Missouri after my best bud/husband died. The ladies of that group saved me by becoming friends with me, sharing their knowledge of quilting and giving me a reason to come back to life. The picture is a quilt I made from my deceased husband's shirts. Each shirt had too many memories for me to give them up and my special cousin suggested I make a quilt. My husband was a U.S. Navy man, so to the best of my ability I put this quilt together. I tried to incorporate an anchor in the center which hopefully can be seen from distance. I did my best but most of all the memories will remain.
