Done in One 2007 Contest Winners

QNNtv.com, Original Sewing & Quilt Expo, and Fons & Porters Love of Quilting put their creative resources together in 2007 to come up with an exciting--and do-able—challenge: Design a quilt, wearable, or bag that you can make in a weekend!

We were looking for quick, easy, original designs that could be made by an average quilter in a weekend. The prize package included cash and merchandise awards, including airfare and an overnight trip to the awards presentation at the Expo in Tampa, FL. To learn more about the Original Sewing & Quilt Expo visit their web site. The contest is now closed—the deadline for entries was January 4, 2008.

Thank you to all who participated in the Done in One Challenge! We were thrilled at the response and are excited to add the display to the Original Sewing & Quilt Expo traveling exhibit over the next year.

The quilts will be displayed in Tampa FL, Atlanta, GA, Cleveland OH, Worcester  MA, Chantilly VA, Chicago IL, Kansas City MO, and Minneapolis MN - from February through November 2008. Please visit www.sewingexpo.com for times and dates of the shows.
