Hopes & Dreams Quilt Challenge for ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease)

The Hopes & Dreams Quilt Challenge for ALS was inspired by my young son’s devastating diagnosis of ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) and the painfully found knowledge that there is no treatment, no cure, no hope for the thousands of people diagnosed with ALS each year.

The first Hopes & Dreams Quilt Challenge for ALS has been an overwhelming success – having received almost 1,400 quilts in just 7 months!

In conjunction with the ALS Association, over 1,000 quilts will be distributed nationwide to ALS patients. The remaining quilts will be displayed, raffled and auctioned with 100% of the proceeds going to ALS research. Select quilts will be displayed and available for sale October 1 – 18 at the Richard Stravitz Fine Art Gallery in Virginia Beach, VA.

Our goal is to raise awareness, funds for research, and warm the hearts and laps of ALS patients – letting those with ALS know that they are not alone in this fight.

Quilters Dream Batting is proud to announce the 2nd Annual Hopes & Dreams Quilt Challenge for ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease).
