A World Series Finish

When our kitty ruined our bedspread, I was inspired to make the Irish Chain quilt featured in the May/June issue of Love of Quilting. I had made several children's quilts and three wall hangings, but this was my first effort on a king-size project. This spring I had 8 units all over the house. Putting them all together was like a giant puzzle, challenging but great fun! The ladies at the local Methodist Church quilted it. I put on the prairie points during the World Series, and celebrated the Cardinals' win and my new quilt!
