The Crooked River Ranch Sage Quilters chose Slanted Stars featured, in the May/June 2005 edition of Love of Quilting, for our "group sew" project. Each month we would cut squares from our stash, 10- 5" dark, 25-5" beige, and 45-3" dark, enough for 2 rows. At our meeting we laid our stack of squares on a table in front of us and then we walked around the table picking a square from each person's stack until they were all gone. We returned with the finished two rows the next month, then did it all again. At the end of 9 months, we finished our quilts with our own border choices. Every quilt was different and so special. Thank you for your wonderful magazine and the inspiring patterns and articles it contains. In the photo from L-R: Linda, Jan, Carlin, Marge, Anita, LIsa, Mary, Delores, and Peggy.
