I thought you might be interested in my version of the Once Around the Block quilt from Easy Quilts Spring 2010. My niece requested a baby quilt in a “Craftsman style”, since they live in a renovated little Craftsman house, and she asked for turquoises and chocolate brown. I know what Craftsman architecture looks like, so I thought the simple graphic lines of this quilt might fit the bill. Because this is a baby quilt, I wanted the blocks to be a little smaller, so the finished quilt is 35 x 55, with six blocks. The original project with its many bright colors had a harlequin feel, and I think this is even more obvious in this limited palette of chocolate brown, pale turquoise, turquoise, and teal.
