Sewing has been a part of me since I was 10. For my 13th birthday, my parents presented me with my first sewing machine. However, I have only been a quilter since 2007. While making my first quilt, Moroccan Tiles, Love of Quilting March/April 2007, I became addicted to quilting. Since then, I have been making quilts and giving them away. This one, I made for me! Your many ideas for mixing black and white fabrics fascinated me. I knew I wanted to create a quilt with a mixture of black and white prints, but it also had to have more than just one other. My search was over when I saw "Interlocking Stars", Jan/Feb 2011. I was fascinated with the design. I love how the use of different colors helps create movement within the black and white prints. Thank you for your inspiration!
