Huntingdon County Quilt Show 2014

Description: The 23rd Annual Huntingdon County Quilt Show is sponsored by the Redbud Quilt Guild of Huntingdon County. Quilt registration date is Thursday April 24, 9 am to Noon. Touching Stars Quilt Show 2014

Shore Points 2014

Description: More than 150 traditional and contemporary quilts will be displayed in the historic Murray Farmhouse, the Barn, and in two other park buildings. Quilt Walk Festival 2014

Description: The Annual Quilt Walk Festival remembers the early Mormon pioneers of Panguitch. The tractor pull and tractor parade occur on Panguitch's charming Main Street and as one of the most popular events of the festival is enjoyed well by all ages. Tours of historical pioneer homes that line the streets of Panguitch provide insight into the lives of earlier inhabitants of the town. Of course what would any real celebration be without a dinner and a show! Homemade, Dutch-oven dinners are available for those who buy tickets to the annual play commemorating the historical Quilt Walk that the locals put on each year. 2014 Holly Girls Quilt Retreats

Description: Introducing the 1st annual Holly Girls Quilt Retreats! The retreats will be held at the lovely 100-year-old White Birch Lodge. Nestled in the woods along the shores of Elk Lake, you will be right in the heart of Northern Michigan's resort area. The town of Elk Rapids is a charming small town with nice restaurants and shopping. We are excited to continue the tradition our good friend Gwen Marston started 30 years ago. We will keep the format and spirit of the retreats, adding our own touches based on our experience and expertise. Description: Lick Skillet Quilt Guild presents the Quilts by the Lake quilt show. Professionally judged quilts including a guild member's challenge interpreting 'bridges'. A display of vintage quilts, many of which are very old and were made by local quilters. The guild's opportunity quilt and themed baskets will be displayed and tickets sold for drawings to win, with proceeds from the tickets going to benefit charities and to support the guild's community service efforts. Celebrate Quilting Quilt Show 2014

Description: The Ozark Piecemakers Quilt Guild's 2014 quilt show "Celebrate Quilting" will feature more than 400 quilts. Elsie M. Campbell will be the judge and give two lectures Thursday (10:00 and 2:00). Lori East will give two lectures Friday (10:00 and 2:00) and appraise quilts by appointment Saturday. Antique Bed Turnings are scheduled at 11:30 all three days and at 3:30 Thursday and Friday. A Wearable Art Fashion Show is set for 2:00 Saturday. Ongoing events at the show include a Silent Auction of quilts of all sizes and the guild's Bits & Pieces Boutique.
