Quilters’ Kudos
Time and time again, we hear wonderful stories of quilters who go above and beyond the call of duty. “Quilts for Broken Heroes” is a group of dedicated quilters from Maryland that we think deserves some extra ‘kudos!’ Carol Hansen is the president of this non-profit group of about 20 quilters, and in the last two years, they have already made over 250 quilts for wounded soldiers at Walter Reed Army Hospital in Washington, DC.
