The Easy Quilts Spring 2017 issue is filled with quilt patterns and projects for a warm and sunny Spring! This issue of Easy Quilts, like so many others, is the best source for traditional quilts and reliable instructions from the experts at Fons & Porter. Come in and take a look around!
Goodbye, winter and hello, spring! As we all restlessly await the new season, Easy Quilts Spring 2017 offers up an issue full of fresh quilting patterns to dig into as winter wanes. We’re thinking of quilted table runners for this spring, like Country Garden and Farm Table, both of which would make for a couple of great table presentations. We have a couple patriotic quilts this time: Liberty and Justice, which is a Quilt of Valor made with a cleverly designed block, and Braveheart, featuring hourglass and Flying Geese quilt units.
If you happen to count a Star WarsTM fanatic among your family or friends, you’ll want to take a look at Rogue One: A StarWarsTM Story. What a perfect gift it would make for a special birthday! Another gift-worthy quilt is our Texas Two Step throw. You don’t have to be a cowboy or cowgirl to love that one. There’s much more inside, so page through, make your to-do lists and start shopping for quilting fabric!
Note: We referred to a faux piping technique on the cover of this issue but did not include instructions for the technique in the magazine. We apologize for this omission. To learn more about faux piping, watch this Sew Easy video from Sewing Specialist Colleen Tauke.
