Splashes of Color for a Cure

Description: On display will be 200 or more local quilts as well as a one-stop shop hop, "garage sale" table, daily demonstrations, and much more. Luncheon featuring our Famous Homemade Chicken Salad will be served daily. A special display will include quilts and wall hangings made in honor of loved ones affected by cancer. Wayne County EH members have created two quilts that incorporate squares using the cancer color wheel that honor those family members and friends. Those two quilts plus a third quilt will be available for silent auction during the quilt show. Proceeds go to Purdue Cancer Research Endowment Fund.

QuiltFest 2015

Description: Hosted by the Birmingham Quilters Guild. Over 300 member quilts will be displayed, including bed quilts, wall hangings, mini quilts, apparel, and home decor. There also will be a silent auction of over 50 wall quilts. All silent auction proceeds will be donated to the Lakeshore Foundation Lima Foxtrot project that provides programs for injured military personnel. Admission is $7 for entry to both Friday and Saturday. There will be a special display of quilts from Hitachi, Japan. Over 20 quilting and fabric vendors will be there. There will be door prizes, raffles for beauitful quilting gift baskets, and an Opportunity Boutique with items from the guild members. Description: Come see wonderful historic Franklin as it stages a city-wide quilt show event displaying quilts in historic homes and in downtown store front windows.
