I am so excited to be reporting back to you after my very first trip to the International Quilt Market in Kansas City. What a magnificent experience…fabric, quilts, notions, magazines and people…as far as the eye could see. I worked in the booth passing out magazines to all the people walking by. It was so rewarding to hear all the positive comments about Love of Quilting, Easy Quilts and Quilty!


One of the hottest items at quilt market was the new Quilty magazine by Mary Fons. People were giddy with enthusiasm over the release of Quilty‘s first issue, and quilters of all ages flocked to our booth to get their hands on a copy. You can get yours on newsstands or at

Finally, here is a picture of me with LaRita and Claudia. We worked together with quilt store owners to make sure all of our magazines can be found at your local quilt shops. All three of us dressed in white on Saturday, which is funny because I rarely wear white and our wardrobes were not planned. It was fun getting to know each other.
