Seeing the look of pure joy on her mother’s face when she opened her Christmas gift of the quilt! I love to make quilted items for my family for Christmas and 2 years ago I made a wall quilt for both my mom and dad and my inlaws. Each quilt had a square for each family member (on that side of the family) and each family member had personalized their own square, and then I put them all together and finished them up. The look of joy on both my mom and my mom in laws faces was priceless! My mom cherishes her own quilt even more now since my stepdad passed away last September. I love making my family happy with my handmade gifts.
