New Hampshire Nights Quilt

Marianne Fons made scrappy Twenty-Five Patch blocks and then joined them with pieced sashing to in this traditional quilt made of reproductions prints. When the dark sashing strips and blue squares are joined, stars appear. This quilt works as a large throw quilt or a bed-size quilt pattern for a twin-size bed!

  1. what is yardage on black stripe sashing units if I do not use same fabric for binding?
also, it would be great to get this using yardage instead of fat quarters. is that available?

    1. Hi Renee — you need at least 2-3/4 yards for the dark sashing. That would include one extra strip in case you made a miss-cut. The pattern was created with fat quarters in mind, so we don’t have an alternate version printed. However, keep in mind that a fat quarter is 18″ x 20.” If you’d prefer using yardage, you can calculate from there. Thank you for the comment!
