It came to our attention yesterday morning that a number of spam messages had been sent imitating the layout and form of the Fons & Porter email newsletter. We want to assure you that these messages are not associated with and have no relationship to Fons & Porter's Love of Quilting.
In a common spamming effort to help make a message appear more legitimate, this spamming effort used the company address information present on our newsletters. In effect, they simply recieved one of our newsletters, copied some elements from the layout, and redistributed as their own.
We sincerely apologize for any confusion or offense these messages may have caused you and thank you for bringing them so swiftly to our attention.
