Strawberry Pie

1-1/2 cups water
1/2 cup sugar
2 Tablespoons cornstarch
1 - 3 oz. pkg. strawberry Jello
1 prepared graham cracker or shortbread pie crust
1 quart strawberries, washed and cut into quarters
Whipped Topping

Cook together water, sugar and cornstarch, stirring until clear and thickened. Remove from heat and add gelatin. Cool 10 minutes. Halve or quarter strawberries and place in pastry shell. Spoon gelatin mixture over strawberries and chill until set. Serve with whipped topping. Garnish with a half strawberry
