Slow-Cooker Pork Roast

1 lb pork loin roast
1 onion, quartered
1 lb. baby carrots
1 lb. potatoes, cleaned and diced into 1-2" pieces

Stir together:
1 pkg. onion soup mix
1 tsp. ground sage
2 c. water

Combine all ingredients in slow cooker at noon - cook on lowest setting until it's time to set the table for dinner, then stir, and serve.

Note: slow cookers vary a lot in how fast they cook - test for "doneness" before serving, adjust temp on your cooker accordingly. This also works well with beef chuck roast - substitute cumin for the sage.
