When I go to quilt classes or to club meetings, I sometimes have a difficult time seeing what I am stitching because of the height of my machine on the table top. To remedy this, I place four rubber wedge shaped door stops, available in the hardware section of any local variety or home store, under the back edge of my machine with the narrow part toward me. The machine is lifted to the perfect angle to see my work, resulting in more accurate sewing. Also, the wedges help absorb any bouncing or vibration of the machine against the table. All in all, a good solution for a shorter person like myself.
