Sew & Tell - January/February 2007
|On the Auction Block
My quilting group, Stitchin' Friends, meets monthly to work on a quilt which is donated for auction to Kids-N-Kamp, an organization providing support to families with children battling cancer. Our Fringy Stars quilt made from the pattern in the July/August 2004 issue of Love of Quilting brought in $700 for this worthwhile organization. Thanks for your wonderful ideas and projects we can share.

When I saw Horse Play in your January/February 2005 issue of Love of Quilting, I knew it would be perfect for my granddaughter's tenth birthday. I enjoyed making it, and she loves the quilt. Keep up the good work.

|Bodacious 4-H Project
My granddaughter Becky made the Bodacious Bloomers project from the May/June 2005 issue of Love of Quilting. She won purple ribbons in the Sioux Empire Fair and the South Dakota State Fair. We look forward to each new issue.

|Our Americana Sampler Quilts
The Graceful Quilters of Libertyville, Illinois, have been quilting together for about six years. In 2002, we all started working on Americana Sampler from your book of the same name. We changed a few of the blocks, substituting a few from your Stars and Stripes book. We had such a good time working on these quilts.

|Child's Play Quilt
I have been reading your magazine for several years. This quilt, Child's Play, is my own adaptation of Checkmate from your January/February 2005 issue of Love of Quilting. Thanks for the inspiration!
