Stars in some quilt patterns might be irregular in their size or shape so using freezer paper allows you to make sure you have the right size every time. This Sew Easy lesson gives you tips and tricks for making stars, using a freezer paper base. This technique can easily be transferred to any other quilt units or shape that you find difficult to replicate en masse without having to make extra cuts to have your units fit where they should. Freezer paper should be in every quilter’s toolbox thanks to it’s many uses!
