We all have various scraps laying around – from fabrics to batting – so why not use them and learn how to make rag quilts! Use up your batting scraps by making a rag quilt that will be a joy to snuggle up under. Generous ½” seam allowances and a quilt-as-you-go construction method make rag projects quick to finish, even if you are a novice quilter. Flannels, homespuns, or other loosely woven fabrics work best for rag quilts because they fray readily when washed, but you can use other fabrics as well.
