Miami Valley Quilters’ Guild (Ohio)

The Miami Valley Quilters’ Guilds 2010 show of work from its more than 200 members features quilts and fabric arts representing the entire range of quilting from traditional work done entirely by hand through traditional patterns pieced and quilted by machine and on to the latest in contemporary and art quilts. Vendors providing equipment and supplies for today’s quilter and those presenting antique quilted items for sale are available, and guild members offer their own work for sale in a boutique which benefits the guild’s charitable activities. Guild members also will be demonstrating a number of quilting techniques throughout the show. Guild members have created a beautiful quilt which will be awarded by raffle at the end of the show (Need not be present to win. Raffle tickets are available from all Guild members and information is available at the Guild website: www.miamivalleyquiltersguild.org The Green County Fairgrounds Assembly Hall provides an ideal setting for the show. The building is spacious, well-lighted, handicap accessible and has ample parking adjacent to the facility.
