Quilting African American Women’s History: Our Challenges, Creativity, and Champions -the largest exhibit of its kind-showcases more than 100 contemporary quilts at the Ohio Historical Society’s NationalAfro-AmericanMuseum & CulturalCenter from March 8, 2008-Nov. 8, 2008. Experience the imagery that tells the story of African-American women and their crucial role in the survival of their people from slavery to the present.
