No Bake Cookies

2 Cups sugar
1/2 Cup cocoa
1/2 Cup milk
1 stick butter or margarine
1/2 Cup peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
1 tsp. vanilla
4 Cups quick oats 1/2 Cup nuts(optional)

In medium saucepan, bring the sugar, cocoa and milk to a boil, remove from heat. Add the butter, peanut butter and vanilla; mix until butters melt. Add the oats and nuts (if used). Mix well. Drop by teaspoon on waxed paper. Refrigerate or put in freezer. Tip: I use the crunchy peanut butter and don't add the nuts. Makes 5 1/2 - 6 dozen cookies
